TALON AND RIFTSTORM UNITE TO PUSH BOUNDARIES IN THE CO-OP SHOOTER GENRE
RIFTSTORM partners with TALON to enhance its reach in Asia and engage gamers through expert insights and community-building
HONG KONG – OCTOBER 17th 2024 – TALON, a premier Asia-focused esports organization, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with RIFTSTORM, an exciting new Co-op Looter Shooter ARPG and Roguelite developed by Confiction Labs. This collaboration marks a key milestone for RIFTSTORM as it seeks to strengthen its reach across Asia, leveraging TALON’s deep regional expertise and insights to engage gamers in new and thrilling ways.
Set in the mystical world of the Occultical, where secret societies face cosmic threats, RIFTSTORM offers players a fast-paced, loot-filled adventure. TALON, with operations across multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region (including Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, and Indonesia), will utilize its deep knowledge of these markets to strategically position RIFTSTORM for success across the region.
TALON will bring its expertise in competitive gaming to playtest RIFTSTORM, gathering valuable feedback from professional esports players to refine the game’s balance and create competitive gameplay modes that will appeal to both casual and professional players. Additionally, TALON’s community engagement strategies will help build an active player base, fostering both in-game communities and cross-platform excitement.
As part of this partnership, TALON and RIFTSTORM will co-develop a series of content and competitive in-game events, giving players the opportunity to showcase their unique builds and team strategies. TALON will also support RIFTSTORM in its alpha playtest (open from 7 PM PT on October 16 to 7 PM PT on October 30) leading up to its full game launch. These events will be designed to enhance player engagement and create a vibrant community around RIFTSTORM’s unique blend of action, strategy, and cooperation.
